JioBlackRock Flexi Cap Fund Sells NALCO, Hindustan Zinc; Reduces BSE and RIL Holdings in August 2026

JioBlackRock Flexi Cap Fund made changes across its portfolio in August 2026, exiting 20 stocks and cutting holdings in 33 others, as per The Economic Times news report citing monthly portfolio disclosed by ACE MF.
The changes included complete exits from National Aluminium Company (NALCO) and Hindustan Zinc. The fund sold 1.31 lakh NALCO shares and nearly 1.23 lakh Hindustan Zinc shares during the month.
Bandhan Bank saw the largest sale among the other exits, with 9.60 lakh shares sold. The fund also sold 1.83 lakh Arvind shares and 1.66 lakh shares of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services.
GESC, HPCL and Other Stocks Fully Exited
Great Eastern Shipping Company and HPCL were among the other significant exits, with 1.45 lakh and 1.33 lakh shares sold, respectively.
LIC Housing Finance, Birla Corporation, Ceat, Ceminidia Projects, Strides Pharma Science, PGCIL, Delhivery and VA Tech Wabag were also removed from the portfolio.
BSE, RIL Holdings Cut
The fund reduced its holding in BSE by 19,588 shares, leaving 63,650 shares at the end of August 2026. It sold around 50,876 shares of Reliance Industries (RIL), while retaining 8.38 lakh shares.
Ashok Leyland recorded the largest reduction among the other holdings, with nearly 8.89 lakh shares sold. The fund was left with 99,829 shares. It also sold around 5.45 lakh Jammu & Kashmir Bank shares, 5.13 lakh PTC India shares and 4.52 lakh NTPC shares.
Yes Bank Among Increased Holdings
Exposure was increased in nearly 17 stocks during August 2026. The fund added 40.25 lakh Yes Bank shares, taking its holding to 1.82 crore shares. It also added 14.12 lakh Ujjivan Small Finance Bank shares, 6.46 lakh JM Financial shares, and 5 lakh PFC shares.
Around 22 stocks were newly added to the portfolio. These included 17.28 lakh Welspun Living shares, 8.51 lakh Castrol India shares and 3.27 lakh REC shares.
Adani Ports, Dixon Technologies, HDB Financial Services, JSW Cement and TVS Motor Company were among the other additions.
Portfolio Rises to 136 Stocks
The fund held 136 stocks in August 2026, compared with 133 in July 2026, across 31 sectors. Banks accounted for 19.49% of the portfolio, while automobile and ancillaries represented 10.23%.
Assets Under Management (AUM) stood at ₹3,274 crore in August 2026, compared with ₹3,270 crore in July. The scheme is benchmarked against the Nifty 500 Index (TRI) and managed by Tanvi Kacheria and Sahil Chaudhary.
