Helios Flexicap Fund Adjusts Portfolio: Trims HDFC Bank Stake, Adds Coforge and PB Fintech in August 2026

In August 2026, Helios Flexicap Fund made strategic portfolio adjustments by reducing its holdings in HDFC Bank and investing in emerging companies like Coforge and PB Fintech. The fund exited several stocks, enhancing its focus on promising growth opportunities, as per The Moneycontrol news report. 

Helios Flexicap Reduces HDFC Bank Holding 

Helios Flexicap Fund decreased its HDFC Bank holding by 6 lakh shares, reducing the bank's portfolio weight to 2.59% from 3.5%.  

Within a span of two months, the fund shifted its stand despite having previously increased its holdings in June 2026.  

This decision coincided with the bank considering both internal and external candidates for the CEO position, introducing an element of uncertainty. 

New Investments in Coforge and PB Fintech 

The fund initiated new positions by purchasing around 10.4 lakh shares in Coforge, accounting for a 2.37% portfolio weight. The investment was seen as strategic amid a focus on IT services capable of robust earnings growth.  

Additionally, the fund acquired approximately 3.6 lakh shares of PB Fintech, which added about 0.8% to the portfolio. 

Portfolio Exits: Dixon Technologies and Others 

Helios Flexicap completely exited positions in 5 companies, including Dixon TechnologiesBSE, and Muthoot Finance. Dixon Technologies previously accounted for 2.5% of the portfolio. The exits reflect a re-alignment towards more focussed growth strategies.

Increase in Holdings: One 97 Communications, SBI, and Titan 

The fund increased its holdings in One 97 CommunicationsState Bank of India, and Titan Company. Shares in One 97 Communications rose to 19.3 lakh, boosting its portfolio weight to 3.79%. Similarly, SBI and Titan saw increased allocations, reflecting the fund's strategic focus.

In August 2026, Helios Flexicap Fund reduced its HDFC Bank stake by 6 lakh shares, while increasing exposure to Coforge and PB Fintech. The portfolio shifts involved complete exits from 5 stocks, and increased investments in One 97 Communications, SBI, and Titan.
