In the previous trading session, market participants remained focused on company-specific developments, including government stake sales, project awards, capacity expansion plans and regulatory decisions that could influence stock performance.

Investors will continue to monitor significant announcements across sectors as businesses pursue growth initiatives, secure new contracts and benefit from favourable legal outcomes.

NLC India Ltd

The Government of India plans to divest up to a 3% stake in NLC India through an offer-for-sale (OFS) at a floor price of ₹303 per share. The OFS opens on 09 June for non-retail investors and on 10 June for retail investors. The development is likely to attract investor attention as the market evaluates participation in the stake sale.

IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd

IRB Infrastructure reported a strong performance in toll collections, with revenue rising 25% year-on-year to ₹843 crore in May, compared with ₹672 crore during the same period last year. The increase reflects healthy traffic growth across its toll road network.

Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL)

Rail Vikas Nigam received a Letter of Acceptance for an EPC contract worth ₹221.33 crore from South East Central Railway. The order strengthens the company’s project pipeline and reinforces its position in the railway infrastructure segment.

Bharti Airtel Ltd

Bharti Airtel is likely to remain in focus after the Bombay High Court quashed the Centre’s one-time spectrum charge. The court ruled that the government could not retrospectively alter the financial terms of telecom licences after they had been granted, providing relief to telecom operators.

Vodafone Idea Ltd

Vodafone Idea also benefited from the Bombay High Court’s ruling on the one-time spectrum charge. The decision removes a significant regulatory burden and could improve investor sentiment towards the telecom operator.

Panacea Biotec Ltd

Panacea Biotec announced the launch of the DENSTAR project, aimed at advancing the licensing and adoption of its dengue vaccine, DengiAll, across sub-Saharan Africa and other global markets. The initiative is supported by the European Union under the Global Health European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership programme.

Grasim Industries approved an investment of ₹3,094 crore for the second phase expansion of its Lyocell manufacturing capacity at Harihar, Karnataka. The project will add 110 KTPA capacity through two production lines, with commissioning expected by 2028 and 2030 respectively.

HCL Technologies Ltd

HCL Technologies launched an AI Innovation Zone in collaboration with Google Cloud in California. The initiative aims to help global enterprises scale artificial intelligence applications across multiple use cases, including agentic and physical AI solutions.

JSW Energy Ltd

JSW Energy commissioned its wind blade manufacturing facility at Halol, Gujarat. The plant marks a key milestone in the company’s strategy to strengthen vertical integration and enhance supply chain resilience within its renewable energy operations.

Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd

HDFC Life Insurance Company acquired 18.2 lakh shares, representing a 0.3% stake in Motilal Oswal Financial Services, through a bulk deal valued at ₹153.3 crore. The transaction was executed at ₹842.5 per share.

NRB Bearings Ltd

NRB Bearings will be in focus following a significant stake sale by promoter entity Trilochan Singh Sahney Trust 1. The promoter sold 43.7 lakh shares, equivalent to a 4.5% stake, for ₹170.43 crore. Singapore-based Arohi Asset Management acquired the shares at a transaction price of ₹390 per share.

Conclusion

Government stake sales, infrastructure project wins, capacity expansion plans, telecom regulatory relief and notable bulk deals are expected to drive stock-specific action during today’s trading session. Investors are likely to closely monitor these developments for potential market opportunities.
