Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini on Wednesday announced that the state government has signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Daikin Industries Ltd and Kubota Corporation, securing a combined investment of ₹3,000 crore to accelerate industrial and agricultural growth in the state.

The MoUs were signed during the Chief Minister’s visit to Osaka, Japan, as part of Haryana’s efforts to attract global partnerships and promote advanced manufacturing.

Daikin to Set Up ₹1,000 Crore R&D Centre

The first agreement, signed with Daikin, will see the company establish a state-of-the-art Research and Development (R&D) centre in Haryana with an investment of ₹1,000 crore. The facility will focus on innovation, technology development, and skill creation in the region.

Sharing the update on social media platform X, Saini said, “An MoU has been signed between the Haryana Government and Daikin in Osaka to establish a new R&D centre in Haryana with an investment of ₹1,000 crore. This initiative will create employment opportunities for our youth and significantly advance technological progress.”

Kubota and Escorts Invest ₹2,000 Crore in Agri Equipment Manufacturing

The second MoU was signed with Kubota Corporation, which announced an investment of ₹2,000 crore in partnership with Escorts Group to develop agricultural equipment manufacturing facilities in Haryana.

During his visit, the Chief Minister met senior Kubota officials at the company’s tractor plant in Osaka to explore opportunities for technical collaboration and future investments. “This significant investment will strengthen Haryana’s industrial and agricultural base, introduce advanced agricultural technologies, and generate employment for the state’s youth,” Saini said.
