Poojaa Precision Engg. IPO

Poojaa Precision Engg. IPO is a book-built issue worth ₹159.83 crore. The entire issue consists of a fresh issue of 53.10 lakh shares, with no offer-for-sale (OFS) component.

The IPO will open for subscription on July 28, 2026, and close on July 30, 2026. The share allotment is likely to be finalised on July 31, 2026. The company's shares are expected to be listed on the BSE SME platform on August 4, 2026.

The price band for the IPO has been fixed at ₹285 to ₹301 per share. Investors can apply for a minimum of 400 shares per lot. For retail investors, the minimum investment is 2 lots (800 shares), which works out to ₹2,40,800 at the upper end of the price band. For HNI investors, the minimum application size is 3 lots (1,200 shares), requiring an investment of ₹3,61,200.

Hem Securities Ltd. is the book-running lead manager for the issue, while MUFG Intime India Pvt. Ltd. is the registrar. Hem Finlease Pvt. Ltd. has been appointed as the market maker.

About Poojaa Precision Engg. 

Poojaa Precision Engg. Limited (PPEL) was incorporated in August 1992 as Pooja Castings Pvt. Ltd. The company was renamed Poojaa Precision Engg. Limited after becoming a public company in December 2025. It manufactures precision-engineered aluminium die-cast and machined components for automotive and industrial applications. Its headquarters and manufacturing facilities are located in Chakan, Pune.

The company offers end-to-end manufacturing services, including product design, casting, machining, heat treatment, testing, and final assembly. It operates two manufacturing units with an annual melting capacity of 13,800 metric tonnes. 

Its products are supplied to automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and electric vehicle manufacturers. The company also serves industries such as agriculture, defence, power, medical equipment, and industrial compressors.

PPEL generates most of its revenue from the domestic market, with a strong presence in Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Punjab. It also exports products to countries including the US, Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.

Industry Outlook

  1. India is the world's second-largest casting producer, manufacturing 12–13 million metric tonnes (MT) of metal castings annually.
  2. The Indian metal casting market was valued at US$12.47 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach US$21.25 billion by 2032, growing at a 5.8% CAGR.
  3. The automotive sector is the largest consumer of metal castings, accounting for 33%–35% of total production.
  4. Major casting production hubs include Kolhapur, Pune, Coimbatore, Rajkot, Belgaum, and Batala/Jalandhar, which together contribute over 60% of India's casting output.
  5. Non-automotive industries, including industrial machinery, power generation, railways, defence, and agriculture, consume more than 60% of total metal casting production.
  6. Rising demand for lightweight vehicles and electric vehicles (EVs) is driving the aluminium die-casting segment, which is expected to grow at 7%–8% CAGR, faster than traditional iron and steel castings.

Poojaa Precision Engg. IPO Objectives

  1. ₹106.34 crore will be used to set up a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Khed, Pune.
  2. ₹30 crore has been earmarked to meet the company's working capital requirements, including raw material procurement and business expansion.
  3. The remaining proceeds will be utilised for general corporate purposes and issue-related expenses, in line with SEBI regulations.

  8. Its net worth more than doubled to ₹133.16 crore in FY26, supported by expanding operations and a skilled workforce.
