Risks and Threats of Hy-Tech Engineers IPO
- The company’s top 10 customer groups account for a significant and increasing share of revenue. Since it does not have long-term or exclusive contracts with these customers, order volumes could decline if they move to competitors.
- Exports contributed 29.37%, 28.30% and 33.14% of total revenue in FY26, FY25 and FY24, respectively, making the company’s revenue susceptible to foreign exchange fluctuations and adverse developments in international markets.
- The company reported a year-on-year decline in profit after tax in FY24, and there is no assurance that it will be able to maintain its profitability growth in the future.
- The construction machinery, farming and automotive segments accounted for 54.82%, 52.33% and 54.55% of revenue in FY26, FY25 and FY24, respectively. A slowdown in these industries could therefore negatively affect the company’s revenue.
- The company operates four of its six manufacturing facilities in Maharashtra and two in Madhya Pradesh, creating geographical concentration. Any disruption in these regions could impact manufacturing operations.
- The company has not yet placed orders for the machinery proposed to be purchased using the IPO proceeds. Delays in procurement could consequently postpone the planned expansion of manufacturing capacity.
