Minimum Fill Order

In finance, a term order with a minimum fill condition will only enter the market if its initial fill meets the minimum share requirement. For instance, let's say an order is placed to purchase 5,000 shares, with a minimum volume of 2,000 shares. This order can only be executed if 2,000 or more shares are available. This ensures a minimum level of liquidity for the order to be filled.
