New York Stock Exchange(NYSE)

The New York Stock Exchange, commonly known as NYSE, is a prominent stock exchange in the United States. It was established in May 1792 and is home to the popular Dow Jones index as well as the NYSE Composite index. These indices are important indicators of the overall performance of the stock market and are closely monitored by investors and analysts alike. As a finance professor, I believe it is vital to understand the significance of NYSE in the world of finance.
