Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 26 September, 2023

On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with the Sensex up around 28 points or 0.05% at 66,050 and the Nifty-50 up around 19 points or 0.09% at 19,693. About 1,892 shares have advanced, 1,043 declined, and 109 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex Index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Tata Steel Ltd, NTPC Ltd and Ultratech Cement Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Asian Paints Ltd.

The BSE Metals Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Metals Index soared 1.25% led by NMDC Ltd and Tata Steel Ltd while the BSE Information Technology Index was down 0.50% dragged down by 63 Moons Technologies Ltd and Tech Mahindra Ltd. 

 The indices in the broader markets were trading higher, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.20% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.60%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Overseas Bank and Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Chaman Lal Setia Exports Ltd and Uflex Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Cochin Shipyard Ltd, PCBL Ltd and Lakshmi Automatic Loom Works Ltd.
