On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 90 points or 0.12% at 72,803 while the Nifty-50 up around 3 points or 0.01% at 22,125. About 2,083 shares have advanced, 1,478 declined and 125 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index are as follows:

The top Sensex gainers were Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank whereas the top Sensex losers were Infosys Ltd, Bajaj FinServ Ltd and HCL Technologies Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.07% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.31%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd and Macrotech Developers Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were Snowman Logistics Ltd and HLV Ltd.

The BSE Realty Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Auto Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Realty Index soared 1.70% led by Macortech Developers Ltd and DLF Ltd while the BSE Auto Index was down 1.04% dragged down by Eicher Motors Ltd and Bajaj Auto Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Vibhor Steel Tubes Ltd, Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd and Gateway Distriparks Ltd.
