BSE Increased the Circuit Limit for 4 Adani Stocks from 5% to10%!

As a part of a review of the surveillance action, the price band is revised in the various stocks and will be effective from June 7, 2023, the exchange said.

On June 6, 2023, BSE Limited announced the revision of the circuit limit on stocks. Today is going to turn out to be an interesting day for the traders as the country’s oldest stock exchange i.e. BSE has revised the daily circuit limit for a total of 477 stocks.

Interestingly, the step has been taken for a total list of 477 stocks, of which the circuit limit of 451 stocks has been revised upwards and only 26 stocks have seen their circuit limit being revised downwards.

The exchange has announced that as part of its surveillance review, the price bands for various stocks will be revised. These revised price bands will come into effect on June 7, 2023, according to the exchange’s statement. 

There is only one stock whose upper limit increased from 2% to 5% which is Seya Industries Ltd.

For 232 stocks, the circuit limit has been increased from 5% to 10% including 4 Adani group stocks. These stocks include Adani Transmission Ltd, Adani Green Energy Ltd, Adani Wilmar Ltd,  Roopa Industries, Jupiter Wagons Ltd, PC Jeweller Ltd, AVG Logistics Ltd, and many others. There are seven stocks whose circuit limit has increased from 5% to 20% some of them are Adani Power Ltd, Kamdhenu Ltd, Zim Laboratories Ltd, RVNL Ltd, and EKI Energy Ltd, etc.

Furthermore, the circuit filter has been raised from 10% to 20% for 211 stocks. Some of these stocks are Hindustan Motors Ltd, Goa Carbon Ltd, Gujarat Poly Electronics Ltd, Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Ltd, PPAP Automotive Ltd, Dhani Services Ltd, Rattan India Power Ltd, Gland Pharma Ltd, Datamatics Global Services Ltd, Spectrum Foods Ltd, etc.

In addition to increasing circuit limits, the exchange has also made reductions. There are a total of 26 stocks in total whose circuit limits have been decreased. Among these, 12 stocks saw a decrease from 10% to 5%. Examples include Gold coin health foods ltd, Milestone Global, Vamshi Rubber Ltd, Bloom Dekor Ltd, Yaari Digital Integrated Services Ltd, Sibar Auto Parts Ltd, and Bilcare Ltd.

Similarly, only two stocks experienced a decrease in circuit limit from 20% to 5%. These stocks are Neelamali Agro Industries Ltd and Yogi Sungwon. 

Lastly, the circuit limit has been reduced from 20% to 10% for 12 stocks. Some of these stocks are Unitech International Ltd, Jaipan Industries Ltd, Bloom Industries Ltd, and Maan Aluminum Ltd. 

Today’s stock price movements are expected to reflect the recent changes implemented by the exchange, potentially resulting in a volatile trading session.
