Shares of Adani group companies saw significant buying interest on Tuesday, January 14, with all 10 Adani stocks trading in the green.
The stocks surged by up to 18%, with Adani Power share price emerging as the top gainer, rallying over 18% to ₹532.95 on the NSE.
Adani Energy Solutions and Adani Green Energy followed closely, each rising by more than 12%.
The stocks of Adani Energy Solutions share price and Adani Green Energy share price were trading at ₹773.55 and ₹1,002.85, respectively at 12:08 PM (IST).
In addition, Adani Total Gas share price saw an increase of over 9%, reaching ₹687.60, while NDTV share price also surged by 9% to ₹152.10.
The flagship Adani Enterprises, which is part of the Nifty 50, gained 8.5%, trading at ₹2,414.25.
Other Adani stocks such as ACC, Adani Ports & SEZ, Ambuja Cement, and Sanghi Industries rose by 4-5%, while Adani Wilmar rebounded by 3% after recent losses, following the launch of its offer for sale.
In Q3 FY 2025, Adani Group’s transmission network expanded significantly to 26,485 circuit kilometres (ckm), a 29.7% increase compared to the same period last year. The company’s power transformation capacity grew to 84,286 MVA from 54,661 MVA year-on-year, further boosting its market position.
Transmission availability was slightly down at 99.21%, compared to 99.69% last year, while overall system availability remained stable at 99.69%. The company also reported a collection efficiency of 102.57% and a marginal increase in its consumer base to 3.17 million.
A second major factor as per news reports behind the surge in Adani Group shares is the re-entry of Donald Trump into the White House. Investors are hopeful that his return will make it easier for the Adani Group to raise funds in international markets, driving fresh buying interest in the company’s stocks.
