Business Model Focused on Gastro Metabolic Care

Gut Clinic operates on an outpatient and day care model, embedding clinics within existing hospitals. This approach enables cost‑effective delivery of specialist services, leverages technology‑enabled infrastructure and supports digital marketing and local partnerships to raise awareness of digestive health.

Geographic Expansion Plans and Target Centres

Currently active in the Delhi NCR area, the company intends to launch facilities in Chandigarh, Punjab and additional northern states. The target is to reach over 20 centres in the near to medium term, creating a sizeable gastro metabolic network anchored in early diagnosis and protocol‑driven treatment.

Market Context and Disease Burden

India’s preventive healthcare market is valued at $197 billion, with lifestyle‑related digestive and metabolic disorders affecting roughly 70 million people. The seed funding positions Gut Clinic to capture a share of this expanding market by delivering specialised, patient‑centric care.

Conclusion

Gut Clinic’s $1 million seed round equips the startup to broaden its gastro metabolic footprint across northern India, supporting infrastructure upgrades, new centre launches and a focus on early diagnosis within a large and growing preventive health market.
