
Flipkart has announced three appointments to its technology leadership team as it expands work related to artificial intelligence (AI), data science and financial technology, as per news reports.
Goda Ramkumar has been appointed Vice President of Data Science and AI Solutions, Mohan Palisetti as Vice President of Fintech and Payments Engineering, and Nitesh Jain as Distinguished Architect.
Before joining Flipkart, Ramkumar was Head of Data Science and Applied AI at Swiggy and has also worked at Ola and Sabre.
She will oversee AI and data science functions across marketplace operations, fulfilment, planning, and trust and safety.
Palisetti joins from Mastercard, where he served as Senior Vice President of Engineering. He has also worked at PayPal, JPMorgan Chase, Morgan Stanley, and DE Shaw.
His role at Flipkart will involve the company's payments and fintech engineering systems.
Jain brings over 2 decades of experience in software engineering and developer infrastructure. His previous assignments include Razorpay, and Walmart Global Tech. At Flipkart, he will work on engineering architecture, platform reliability, and developer systems.
The latest appointments come after the company named Smita Ojha as Vice President of Engineering and Amit Sharma as Vice President of Programme Management earlier this year, adding to its senior technology team.

With the latest appointments, Flipkart has added experience in AI, fintech, and software engineering to its technology leadership. The hires follow earlier additions made in 2026.
