AI services startup Aivar has reportedly raised $4.6 million (around ₹41 crore) in a seed funding round led by Sorin Investments, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, as per news reports.
The company said the funds will be used to support expansion across India, the US and the Middle East, and to strengthen its delivery and engineering teams.
According to the company, the fresh capital will be allocated towards hiring senior engineers, expanding delivery capacity and further developing its internal platforms.
The funding will also support its plans to grow its presence outside India, particularly in North America and the Middle East.
Founded in 2024, Aivar operates as an artificial intelligence-focused technology services firm. The company was set up by former Amazon Web Services colleagues Kousik Rajendran, Praveen Jayakumar, Ashwin Ram Ravichandran and Aadharsh Ayappan. It works with enterprises and startups to deploy AI systems in live business environments.
Aivar currently serves over 80 customers, including early-stage startups and large enterprises. Its projects typically involve building and deploying AI and machine learning systems that are intended for regular business use, rather than pilots or limited trials.
The company operates across multiple sectors, although it has not disclosed a detailed revenue split.
The company follows an end-to-end delivery model that covers planning, development and ongoing management of AI systems. This includes initial consulting, custom solution development and managed operations once systems go live.
Aivar said this structure is for addressing execution issues that enterprises often face when scaling AI beyond experimentation.
Aivar has developed a set of internal platforms used across client projects. These include Convogent AI, which supports multilingual conversational and voice-based use cases, and Velogent AI, which is used for automation in regulated business workflows.
It has also built Kubogent AI, a Kubernetes-based platform for hosting and managing AI workloads.
