On Wednesday, April 29, 2026: Indian markets gave up a large part of their early gains as Brent crude prices moved higher following stalled talks between the United States and Iran, along with the United Arab Emirates exiting the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries.

The Nifty50 closed up 0.76% (181.95 points) at 24,177.65, while the Sensex ended 0.79% (609.45 points) higher at 77,496.36.
