Rainbow Children’s Medicare Reports 25% Growth in Q2 FY25 Revenue and Profit

Rainbow Children’s Medicare Limited (RCML) reported its financial results for Q2 and H1 FY25, ending on September 30, 2024.
The company stated that historically, the second quarter has shown an uptick in occupancy rates and patient visits, a trend that continued this quarter as RCML expanded its reach and capabilities. The company achieved record-breaking Revenue, EBITDA, and PAT across its hospital network, including recently opened facilities in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
In a significant milestone, Rainbow Children’s Hospital in Visakhapatnam recently received NABH accreditation, joining the 13 other NABH-accredited hospitals in RCML’s network, along with three hospitals carrying JCI accreditation. This achievement reflects RCML’s dedication to delivering world-class healthcare. RCML stands out as the only pediatric hospital chain in India with three JCI-accredited facilities.
Q2 FY 2025 Financial Highlights
For Q2 FY25, RCML reported revenue of ₹4,174.6 million, a substantial 25.5% rise from ₹3,326.8 million in Q2 FY24. EBITDA also saw a boost, reaching ₹1,470.8 million, up 25.1% from ₹1,175.6 million in the same period last year. The company’s PAT for Q2 FY25 was ₹790.1 million, a 25.1% increase from ₹631.6 million in Q2 FY24. These results reflect RCML’s strategic growth and operational efficiencies.
Commenting on the company’s Q2 performance, the Chairman and Managing Director of RCML, Dr Ramesh Kancharla, stated, “We currently have 2,000+ beds, including the managed beds, with a right mix of matured and new beds. Our focus remains to drive occupancies and optimise operations across the group along with customer delight. We are confident in our ability to maintain the growth momentum in the upcoming quarters.”
