Bharti Airtel has teamed up with AI-based search platform Perplexity, offering a complimentary 1-year subscription of Perplexity Pro to all its mobile, broadband, and DTH subscribers in India,  a service otherwise priced at ₹17,000 annually.

Expanding Perplexity's Reach in India

This marks Perplexity’s first-ever tie-up with an Indian telecom company and demonstrates Airtel's strategic focus on AI innovation. The Pro subscription gives users access to premium features such as GPT-4.1, Claude, image generation, file upload and analysis capabilities, and deeper research tools, which are all designed to elevate online search experiences beyond basic results.
