Zoho Elevates Enterprise Apps with New Zia-Powered Agentic AI to Compete with Microsoft, Google

Zoho has unveiled agentic AI capabilities across its suite of enterprise applications at no additional cost, further strengthening its Zia-powered automation as it takes on major competitors like Microsoft and Google in the enterprise AI ecosystem, as per the news reports. 

The rollout covers Zoho Mail, Zoho CRM, Zoho Tables, Zoho Recruit, and Zoho Desk, marking a strategic step in expanding its AI-driven productivity solutions.

Agentic Automation To Spur the Shift Towards Swadeshi 

The new AI agents are designed to execute complex, multi-step business functions with limited human input, including identifying sales intent within emails, generating database frameworks, matching job candidates to roles, and creating assessments for recruitment workflows. 

Zoho’s visibility has also risen within Indian ministries, driven by the Centre’s initiative to prioritise domestic software solutions. Many Union Ministers have confirmed their transition to Zoho for official communications and collaborations, reflecting the growing momentum of India’s ‘Swadeshi’ tech adoption.

Zia-Powered Stack and Competitive Positioning

Zoho is integrating these AI agents within existing subscription plans, eliminating additional AI-related costs. The system operates on Zoho’s internally developed Zia large language model built on NVIDIA infrastructure, supported by Zia Hubs that process unstructured enterprise data to enhance contextual understanding. 

This unified, in-house model reduces dependencies on external integrations, ensuring seamless deployment, a distinct contrast to Microsoft Copilot and Google Duet AI. 

With bundled automation and a self-contained technology stack, Zoho is positioning itself as a cost-effective and locally built alternative to competitors.
