Multi-agent GenAI startup CraftifAI has raised $3 million (about ₹27.2 crore) in a seed round led by Ankur Capital, with participation from IvyCap Ventures, Capital-A and Antler. The funding will support product scale-up, hiring and overseas market expansion.
The startup said the fresh capital will be used to strengthen its engineering talent pool and expand go-to-market teams. It is also preparing to widen its presence across global customer segments.
Founded in 2025 by former PhonePe executive Pratik Sharda and ex-Xilinx senior system design engineer Yashwant Dagar, the company operates at the intersection of GenAI and embedded systems.
The investment comes amid rising investor appetite for AI-led automation platforms across deep-tech and industrial software segments.
CraftifAI is developing CraftifAI Orbit, an agentic AI platform aimed at automating embedded software development for Edge, IoT and AI-enabled hardware devices.
The company said the platform combines hardware-aware code generation and AI/ML deployment into a unified workflow, reducing development time and cost while replacing fragmented toolchains.
CraftifAI said it has already secured pilot engagements with Indian OEMs in robotics, drones, IoT and AI camera segments, along with a US-listed semiconductor company, targeting a market where connected smart devices are projected to exceed 41 billion by 2030, while embedded engineer supply remains limited.
