Mercedes-Benz India has launched a new dealer management system named SKYLine in partnership with Zoho, as per the news reports. The system is meant to digitise how dealerships handle daily operations such as booking, service check-ins, technician assignment, and vehicle delivery.
It brings all dealership processes under one digital framework.
Each Mercedes-Benz dealership in India will now work on its own Zoho CRM setup. This allows dealers to manage their local operations separately while following company-wide standards. The structure connects all dealerships to a central framework without merging their internal systems.
The SKYLine platform was developed over a 2-year period by Zoho’s Enterprise Business Solutions team and Mercedes-Benz India. The rollout process included around 5,000 man-days of testing and about 3,000 man-days of training for dealership staff. The system replaces the earlier centralised IT setup and is now functional across the company’s dealership network.
Built on Zoho CRM and Zoho Qntrl, the system links older internal databases with new digital tools through middleware. This allows information to move between existing infrastructure and newer platforms. The system records real-time data from service centres and connects it with the company’s central network.
Reports suggest that the new system has been developed in India as part of a joint project between Mercedes-Benz India and Zoho. It was created to match operational requirements specific to Indian dealerships. The SKYLine system is now active across all Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the country.
