Upper Circuit Stocks Today – Stocks Locked in Upper Circuit on 20 July 2023
On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading lower with Sensex down around 726 points or 1.08% at 66,846 and the Nifty-50 down around 199 points or 1% at 19,781. About 1,519 shares have advanced, 1,612 declined, and 141 are unchanged on the BSE.
Top gainers and losers on BSE Sensex Index are as follows:
The top Sensex gainers were Larsen & Toubro Ltd, State Bank of India and ITC Ltd whereas the top Sensex losers were Wipro Ltd, HCL Technologies Ltd and Infosys Ltd.
The BSE Capital Goods Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and BSE Information Technology Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Capital Goods Index soared 1.15%, led by Suzlon Energy Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Ltd while the BSE IT Index was down 4% dragged down by Polycab India Ltd and C G Power & Industrial Ltd.
The indices in the broader markets were trading mixed, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.14% and the BSE Small-cap index up 0.08%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd and Macrotech Developers Ltd while the top small-cap gainers were D B Corp Ltd and Oriental Aromatics Ltd.
In the pre-opening session, these 3 stocks were trending: Suzlon Energy Ltd, IRCON International Ltd and Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd.
