Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 28 June, 2024

On Friday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 245 points or 0.31% at 79,488, while the Nifty-50 was up around 80 points or 0.33% at 24,126. About 2,196 shares have advanced; 1,352 declined and 164 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were State Bank of India, NTPC Ltd and Tata Motors Ltd while the top Sensex losers were HCL Technologies Ltd, Kotak Mahindra Bank and IndusInd Bank.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.50% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.49%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Steel Authority of India Ltd and NHPC Ltd. In contrast, Kalyani Investment Company Ltd and Solara Active Pharma Sciences Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Oil & Gas Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Capital Goods Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Oil & Gas Index gained by 1.4%, up by Oil India Ltd and Indraprastha Gas Ltd while the BSE Capital Goods Index plunged by 0.30%, down by Polycab India Ltd and Siemens Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Stanley Lifestyles Ltd, Bombay Burmah Trading Corp Ltd and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.
