Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 21 March, 2024
On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex down around 720 points or 1% at 72,808, while the Nifty-50 was up around 228 points or 1.05% at 22,066. About 2,641 shares have advanced; 471 declined; and 112 are unchanged on the BSE.
Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:
The top Sensex gainers were Tata Steel Ltd, NTPC Ltd and IndusInd Bank while the top Sensex losers were Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Nestle India Ltd and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.
The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green, with the BSE Mid-cap index up 1.72% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.82%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Power Finance Corporation of India Ltd and REC Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Shiva Cement Ltd and eMudhra Ltd.
All the sectoral indices were trading in green with The BSE Industrials Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index being the top gainers. The BSE Industrials Index gained by 2.30%, up by IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd and Rama Steel Tubes Ltd while the BSE Consumer Durables Index is up by 2.28% led by CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd.
In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Gensol Engineering Ltd, Lloyds Engineering Works Ltd and SJVN Ltd.
