Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 12 March, 2024
On Tuesday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex down around 400 points or 0.50% at 73,873, while the Nifty-50 was up around 73 points or 0.37% at 22,417. About 887 shares have advanced; 2,275 declined; and 86 are unchanged on the BSE.
Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:
The top Sensex gainers were HDFC Bank, Tata Consultancy Ltd and Reliance Industries Ltd while the top Sensex losers were JSW Steel Ltd, Nestle India Ltd and Ultratech Cement Ltd.
The indices in the broader markets were trading lower, with the BSE Mid-cap index down 0.25% and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 1.03%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Castrol India Ltd and Solar Industries Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Hercules Hoists Ltd and Ratnamani Metals & Tubes Ltd
The BSE Information Technology Index was the top gaining among the sectoral indices, soaring 0.90% led by Infobeans Technologies Ltd and Affle (India) Ltd. The BSE Realty Index was the top losing sector, down 1.50% dragged down by Swan Energy Ltd and DLF Ltd.
In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd, Ratnamani Metals & Tubes Ltd and HBL Power Systems Ltd.
