Upper Circuit Stocks Today – 01 July, 2024

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading in the green with the Sensex up around 196 points or 0.25% at 79,237, while the Nifty-50 was up around 68 points or 0.28% at 24,078. About 2,364 shares have advanced; 940 declined and 137 are unchanged on the BSE.

Top gainers and losers on the BSE Sensex index:

The top Sensex gainers were JSW Steel Ltd, Tech Mahindra Ltd and Hindustan Unilever Ltd while the top Sensex losers were Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd and NTPC Ltd.

The indices in the broader markets were trading in the green with the BSE Mid-cap index up 0.56% and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.05%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers were Emami Ltd and UNO Minda Ltd. In contrast, Roto Pumps Ltd and Atul Auto Ltd were the top small-cap gainers.

The BSE Metals Index was the top gaining among the sectorial indices and the BSE Utilities Index was the top losing sector. The BSE Metals Index gained by 0.90%, up by National Aluminum and NMDC Ltd while the BSE Utilities Index plunged by 0.70%, down by Reliance Infrastructure Ltd and Inox Green Energy Ltd.

In the pre-opening session, these three stocks were trending: Cochin Shipyard Ltd, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd and PTC Industries Ltd.
