Share Market Pre Open Updates – June 24, 2024

On June 21, 2024, the Nifty 50 fell by 0.28% and closed at 23,501, and the Sensex dropped by 0.35%, closing at 77,209. 

Top Gainers and Losers

On the sectoral front, Nifty Media, Nifty IT, Nifty Consumer Durables and Nifty Metal ended in the green. Meanwhile, Nifty FMCG, Nifty PSU Bank, Nifty Oil and Gas and Nifty Realty were declining. The top gainers were Havells, IRFC, Jindal Steel and Bharti Airtel, which showed positive movement. On the other hand, Marico, Cholamandalam Investment and Finance, UltraTech Cements and HAL were the top losers of the day.

Vodafone Idea and RailTel Corporation were in the news on June 21, 2024.

• According to reports, Vodafone Idea has completed its 5G rollout. After this news, the Vodafone share price rose 4%.
• RailTel’s share price increased by 12% as the company bagged an order worth ₹20.22 crore from South Central Railway.
