Share Market Pre Open Updates – June 06, 2024

On June 5, 2024, the Nifty 50 rose 3.36% and closed at 22,620, and the Sensex increased 3.20%, closing at 74,382. 

Top Gainers and Losers

On the sectoral front, Nifty Metal, Nifty Private Bank, Nifty Auto and Nifty Bank ended in the green. Meanwhile, no sector was seen falling. The top gainers were Adani Green Energy, Trent, Ambuja Cements and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone, which showed positive movement. On the other hand, Adani Energy Solutions, Larsen & Toubro and Bharat Petroleum Corporation were the top losers of the day.

• Lupin has completed the acquisition of two brands. After this news, the company’s share price increased by 4%, closing at ₹1,628.
• KEC International secured new orders worth ₹1002 crore. After this news, the company’s share price rose by 3.31%, closing at ₹720.
