
In May 2026, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund disclosed its top holdings, showcasing significant allocations in leading corporations. The fund managed assets worth ₹11.78 lakh crore, making it the second-largest asset management company (AMC) based on size as of May 31, 2026, as per a report by Motilal Oswal Financial Services.
Among the prominent holdings were HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank, with allocations of 7% and 5.7%, respectively. HDFC Bank's shares in the portfolio increased to 4.68 crore, causing a 0.2% rise in its weight, while ICICI Bank's weight remained consistent.
The fund had a 4.1% allocation in Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and a 3.4% allocation in Axis Bank. While RIL saw a 0.2% decrease, Axis Bank experienced a 0.1% increase in their respective weights compared to the previous month.
Investment in Infosys stood at 3.1%, reflecting a 0.1% decrease, whereas Larsen & Toubro (L&T) had a stable 3% allocation compared to the previous month.

Telecom and Pharmaceuticals Sector Allocation
The fund allocated 2.7% to Bharti Airtel, which witnessed a 0.1% decline in weight. Sun Pharma maintained a 2.3% allocation, as did Maruti Suzuki with 2.2%, with no changes in their weights from the previous month.
NTPC's allocation stood at 2.1%, experiencing a 0.2% decrease. As an energy sector representative, this reflects the fund's evolving sectoral focus.
