Axis and SBI Mutual Funds Acquires Stake in DOMS Industries; HDFC Life Sells Finolex Industries

Axis Mutual Fund and SBI Mutual Fund have increased their holdings in DOMS Industries by purchasing a 2.1% equity stake.
Meanwhile, HDFC Life Insurance has nearly exited its position in Finolex Industries by selling shares in an open market transaction.
Axis and SBI Mutual Fund Purchase DOMS Stake
Axis Mutual Fund and SBI Mutual Fund have acquired a 2.1% stake in DOMS Industries, a Gujarat-based art and stationery products manufacturer.
This transaction occurred as part of a larger offload by Italian stationery company FILA, which sold 42.48 lakh shares or a 7% stake in DOMS for ₹934.7 crore.
FILA divested 23,40,184 shares at ₹2,200.55 apiece and 19.08 lakh shares at ₹2,200.07 per share.
Axis Mutual Fund and SBI Mutual Fund each bought 3,61,637 and 9,32,800 shares, priced at ₹2,200 per share, amounting to total considerations of ₹79.56 crore and ₹205.21 crore, respectively, as per the bulk deals data on exchanges.
HDFC Life Insurance Reduces Holding in Finolex Industries
HDFC Life Insurance has nearly exited its stake in Finolex Industries, a leading PVC pipes manufacturer, by offloading 80.47 lakh shares, representing a 1.29% holding.
The shares were sold at ₹169.71 and ₹169.62 per share, aggregating to ₹136.54 crore. Before the sale, HDFC Life owned 80.5 lakh shares, accounting for a 1.3% stake as of March 2026.
The sale led to an increase in Finolex Industries’ share price, closing at ₹173.06 on the National Stock Exchange, up by 1.39%.
Baazar Style Retail: Garg Brothers Trims Stake
Baazar Style Retail saw a price increase, with its shares climbing 3.9% to reach ₹350.05 on the NSE.
In Baazar Style Retail, Garg Brothers sold 8.75 lakh shares corresponding to a 1.14% stake for ₹28.76 crore, reducing their holdings from 1.38% to a lesser percentage.
