Helios Flexi Cap Fund Raises Stake in Tata Motors, Paytm, Eternal & More in April 2026

Helios Flexi Cap Fund made several portfolio adjustments in April 2026, increasing its stake in Tata Motors, Eternal, Paytm and eight other companies, according to the latest monthly portfolio disclosure by Helios Mutual Fund.

The fund also introduced new positions in Titan Company and Axis Bank while reducing exposure to select large-cap stocks including HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries.

Tata Motors, Eternal and Paytm Among Key Additions

Helios Flexi Cap Fund added around 7.83 lakh shares of Tata Motors during April, taking its total holding in the company to 33.62 lakh shares compared to 25.79 lakh shares in March.

The fund also increased its exposure to Eternal by adding approximately 6.64 lakh shares, taking the total holding to 1.05 crore shares.

In Paytm’s parent company One97 Communications, the fund purchased nearly 1.46 lakh additional shares, increasing the holding to 16.46 lakh shares.

Other stocks where the fund increased its exposure include Bharat Electronics, Hero MotoCorp, Cummins India, The Phoenix Mills, GMR Airports, BSE, NBCC (India), and Varun Beverages.

Among these, GMR Airports saw the largest addition, with around 36.71 lakh shares added during the month.

Reduction in HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries

The fund reduced exposure to three stocks in April, namely HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries and Ather Energy.

Around 6.78 lakh shares of HDFC Bank were sold, reducing the holding to 38.11 lakh shares from 44.90 lakh shares in March.

The fund also sold approximately 4.62 lakh shares of Reliance Industries and 3 lakh shares of Ather Energy.

New Additions and Portfolio Expansion

Titan Company and Axis Bank emerged as new entrants in the portfolio during April. The fund added around 1.73 lakh shares of Titan Company and 4.92 lakh shares of Axis Bank.

Helios Flexi Cap Fund did not completely exit any stock during the month. Nearly 50 stocks remained unchanged in the portfolio, including Bajaj Finance, Hitachi Energy, Swiggy, HDFC AMC, ICICI AMC, Siemens Energy India, and Physicswallah.

The fund’s portfolio expanded to 66 stocks in April from 64 stocks in March and remained diversified across 23 sectors.

Conclusion

Helios Flexi Cap Fund continued to actively rebalance its portfolio in April by increasing exposure to automobile, infrastructure, financial and consumption-related stocks. With an AUM of ₹6,762 crore and a diversified sector allocation, the fund remains focused on long-term capital appreciation through active stock selection across market capitalisations.
