Indian markets ended slightly lower after a choppy session on Nifty F&O expiry day, with investors staying cautious ahead of the RBI’s MPC policy decision on Wednesday, October 1.

At the close, the BSE Sensex slipped 97.32 points (0.12%) to 80,267.62, while the NSE Nifty fell 23.8 points (0.10%) to 24,611.1.

  • Tata Motors climbed 1.49%, closing at ₹682.55, the most actively traded with ~1.5 crore shares.

Conclusion
