Indian equities are likely to remain focused on company-specific developments, including quarterly earnings, fundraising plans, acquisitions, project wins and bulk deals. 

Several stocks have reported developments that could influence investor sentiment and trading activity during the session on August 18, 2026. 

Indo-MIM 

Indo-MIM reported a 31.6% year-on-year increase in consolidated profit for the first quarter, with profit rising to ₹240.1 crore from ₹182.4 crore. Revenue increased 9.4% to ₹1,218.7 crore from ₹1,114.1 crore. The earnings performance is likely to keep the stock in focus. 

One 97 Communications (Paytm) 

Resilient Asset Management B.V., the parent and promoter entity of Vijay Shekhar Sharma, is likely to sell up to a 4.98% stake in Paytm. The reported floor price for the proposed transaction is ₹1,535.10 per share. 

SPR Auto Technologies 

SPR Auto Technologies launched its qualified institutions placement on August 17, 2026, with a floor price of ₹4,438.20 per share. The company is reportedly looking to raise around ₹1,000 crore through the QIP. 

Netweb Technologies India 

Netweb Technologies India opened its QIP on August 17, 2026, with a floor price of ₹4,885.90 per share. The fundraising size is reportedly expected to be around ₹1,200 crore. 

Jyoti CNC Automation 

Jyoti CNC Automation received approval for a capital investment proposal of ₹1,020.65 crore over the next five years at its existing manufacturing facility in Rajkot under the Electronic Components Manufacturing Scheme of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The company will be eligible for a capex incentive of up to 25% on the investments. 

Manipal Health Enterprises 

Manipal Health Enterprises signed a Business Transfer Agreement with Kindorama Healthcare to acquire the entire business operations and assets of Kinder Hospital in Doddanekundi Industrial Area, Bengaluru, for ₹130 crore. 

Highway Infrastructure 

Highway Infrastructure received a Letter of Acceptance worth ₹80.17 crore from the National Highways Authority of India for operations at Palayam Fee Plaza in Tamil Nadu. 

Baazar Style Retail 

Cupid-promoter Aditya Kumar Halwasiya acquired 45 lakh shares, representing a 5.91% stake in Baazar Style Retail, for ₹162.9 crore at ₹362 per share. The shares were sold by the company's promoters Bhagwan Prasad, Sidharth Surana and Shreyans Surana. 

Embassy Office Parks REIT 

US-based private investment firm Bain Capital, through its affiliate APAC Company XXIII Limited, sold 5.34 crore units in Embassy Office Parks REIT in two transactions at around ₹435 per unit. The deals represented a 5.63% stake worth ₹2,325.28 crore. 

LEAP India 

The Government of Singapore acquired 22.15 lakh shares, representing a 0.5% stake in LEAP India, for ₹34.39 crore at ₹155.28 per share. 

RPP Infra Projects 

Diva Projects acquired an additional 8.51 lakh shares, representing a 1.7% stake in RPP Infra Projects, for ₹4.99 crore at ₹58.67 per share. Promoter Yagavi N A sold 8.95 lakh shares, representing a 1.8% stake, for ₹5.25 crore at ₹58.68 per share.

Ponni Sugars (Erode) 

Promoter Seshasayee Paper and Boards bought 2.9 lakh shares, representing a 3.37% stake in Ponni Sugars (Erode), for ₹10.15 crore at ₹350 per share. Investor Atyant Capital India Fund I sold 3.13 lakh shares, representing a 3.6% stake, for ₹10.96 crore at ₹349.85 per share. 

Kesar India 

Minerva Ventures Fund acquired 11.78 lakh shares, representing a 3.76% stake in Kesar India, from Forbes EMF for ₹149.01 crore. The shares were exchanged at ₹1,265 per share. 

VISA Chrome 

Chrome Assets Care and Reconstruction Enterprise sold 78.93 lakh shares in VISA Chrome for ₹30 crore. Maha Investment Fund PCC - Onyx Strategy acquired 78.94 lakh shares for ₹30 crore at ₹38 per share. 

Milky Mist Dairy Food 

Milky Mist Dairy Food is scheduled for a mainboard listing, making the stock one of the key market developments to watch during the session. 

Conclusion 

Quarterly earnings, proposed stake sales, QIP fundraising, acquisitions, government incentives, fresh orders and bulk deals are likely to drive stock-specific activity in today's trading session.
