Several stocks are likely to remain in focus during Thursday’s trading session as investors track quarterly results, proposed stake sales, fresh orders, regulatory developments and bulk and block deals. 

Juniper Green Energy Ltd 

Juniper Green Energy reported a 54.2% year-on-year rise in consolidated profit for the first quarter to ₹33.5 crore, compared with ₹21.7 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue increased 81.2% to ₹291.2 crore from ₹160.7 crore, keeping the renewable energy company in focus. 

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company Ltd 

Prudential Corporation Holdings is reportedly planning to sell a 2% stake in ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company to meet minimum public shareholding requirements. The offer size is estimated at ₹3,121 crore. Prudential Corporation held a 34.59% stake in the company as of June 2026, while total promoter shareholding stood at 87.6%. 

Foseco India Ltd 

Morganite Crucible and Morgan Terrassen BV are reportedly likely to sell their entire 15.27% stake in Foseco India through a block deal. The proposed transaction is valued at around ₹664.4 crore, with a floor price of ₹5,773.63 per share. 

Aye Finance Ltd 

Alpha Wave India I LP is likely looking to sell its entire 7.8% stake in Aye Finance through a block deal. The offer size is estimated at ₹320.4 crore, with a floor price of ₹167 per share. 

Fino Payments Bank Ltd 

The Reserve Bank of India has approved the extension of Ketan Merchant’s tenure as Interim CEO of Fino Payments Bank for another three months from August 27, 2026, or until the regular MD and CEO takes charge, whichever is earlier. 

IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd 

The company’s board has approved an investment of up to ₹351 crore in IRB InvIT Fund through a proposed preferential issue. IRB Infrastructure Developers plans to acquire up to 5.4 crore additional units at ₹65 per unit. The fund intends to use the proceeds to acquire two project SPVs from IRB Infrastructure Trust. 

Bharat Electronics Ltd 

Bharat Electronics has secured additional orders worth ₹730 crore since August 10. The orders cover communication equipment, radar, avionics, tank sub-systems, electro-optics, cybersecurity, perimeter security, medical electronics, EVMs, jammers, batteries, spares and services. 

Max Healthcare Institute Ltd 

Max Healthcare’s subsidiary, Alps Hospital, has received a show-cause-cum-demand notice from the Directorate General of Goods & Services Tax Intelligence, Mumbai. The notice alleges a GST demand of ₹165.7 crore, including a penalty of ₹110.47 crore. 

Vedanta Ltd 

Vedanta Resources has denied recent media reports suggesting a possible sale of its stake in VedantaVedanta Aluminium or another group company. The parent company said there is currently no plan to sell any stake and reiterated its focus on growth, deleveraging, shareholder returns and the proposed demerger into five focused businesses. 

Physicswallah Ltd 

Lightspeed Opportunity Fund II LP exited Physicswallah by selling its entire 4.67 crore equity shares, representing a 1.61% stake, for ₹549.73 crore. The shares were sold at ₹117.72 each. Several domestic and international institutional investors participated as buyers in the block deal.

Rubicon Research Ltd 

General Atlantic Singapore RR Pte Ltd sold 1.38 crore equity shares of Rubicon Research, representing an 8.37% stake, for ₹2,291.61 crore at ₹1,660 per share. The shares were acquired by a group of domestic and global institutional investors. 

Billionbrains Garage Ventures Ltd 

Ribbit Capital V LP and Ribbit Cayman GW Holdings V sold a combined 11.31 crore shares of Billionbrains Garage Ventures, representing a 1.8% stake, for a total of ₹2,217.3 crore. The shares were sold at around ₹196 per share through block deals. 

Welspun Corp Ltd 

Promoter Welspun Investments and Commercials sold 60 lakh shares, representing a 2.27% stake in Welspun Corp, for ₹1,365.2 crore at ₹2,275.30 per share. Managing Director and CEO Vipul Mathur separately sold 3 lakh shares for ₹68.3 crore. Capital Group and Aberdeen Group were among the buyers. 

Viyash Scientific Ltd 

Promoters CA Hull Investments and CA Harbor Investments, owned by Carlyle Group, sold 4.75 crore shares in Viyash Scientific for ₹1,259.4 crore. The shares represented a 10.88% stake in the company and were sold at different prices through block deals. 

Gaja Capital Ltd 

Invesco Mutual Fund acquired an additional 85.95 lakh shares, representing a 6.09% stake in Gaja Capital, for ₹157.8 crore. Following the purchase, Invesco India Financial Services Fund’s total holding increased to 7.8%. 

Avenue Supermarts Ltd 

Capital Group-owned American Funds Insurance Series Global Growth and Income Fund sold 67.64 lakh shares, representing a 1.03% stake in Avenue Supermarts, for ₹2,537.12 crore at ₹3,750.58 per share. 

Standard Engineering Technology Ltd 

Amansa Holding sold an additional 11.58 lakh shares of Standard Engineering Technology at ₹324.60 per share. The transaction was valued at ₹37.59 crore. 

TCC Concept Ltd 

Goldman Sachs Asia Strategic sold 4.04 lakh shares of TCC Concept for ₹10.46 crore at ₹258.48 per share through a block deal. 

Conclusion 

Quarterly earnings, proposed stake sales, fresh defence orders, regulatory developments and large block transactions are likely to drive stock-specific activity during today’s session.
