Benchmark indices are expected to witness stock-specific action today as investors react to quarterly earnings, strategic acquisitions, project wins and regulatory developments announced by several listed companies. 

Market participants will closely monitor corporate earnings, infrastructure contracts, stake sales, acquisitions and business expansion initiatives, which could influence sentiment during today's trading session. 

HCL Technologies Ltd 

HCL Technologies reported a strong set of first-quarter results. Consolidated net profit rose 20.3% year-on-year to ₹4,624 crore, while revenue increased 13.9% to ₹34,579 crore. EBIT climbed 18% to ₹5,831 crore, with the EBIT margin improving to 16.86% from 16.28%. The company's board also declared an interim dividend of ₹12 per share for FY27. 

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company 

ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company posted a healthy quarterly performance, with net profit rising 23.1% year-on-year to ₹964.6 crore. Revenue grew 17.6% to ₹1,564.2 crore, reflecting continued strength in its asset management business. 

Biocon Ltd 

Biocon will remain in focus after reports indicated that Mylan Inc is likely to sell its entire 5.64% stake through block deals, with a floor price of ₹378.50 per share. Investors will watch the transaction and its potential impact on the stock. 

Timken India Ltd 

Timken India received Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) licences for two product categories across two manufacturing facilities, strengthening its manufacturing capabilities and product compliance. 

EMS Ltd 

EMS emerged as the lowest bidder for a sewerage project worth ₹105.81 crore awarded by UP Jal Nigam (Urban), Varanasi. The order is expected to support the company's infrastructure order book. 

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd 

The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) issued a warning letter to a Clinical Investigator associated with a bioequivalence study conducted at the Alembic Pharmaceuticals facility. The observations relate to the Informed Consent Form process and do not concern data integrity. 

Welspun Enterprises Ltd 

Welspun Enterprises' subsidiary, Welspun Pune Shirur Projects, signed a sub-concession agreement with the Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation and the Government of Maharashtra for the Pune-Shirur highway project valued at ₹7,300 crore.

Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd 

Emcure Pharmaceuticals signed share transfer agreements to acquire the remaining 12.05% stake in Gennova Biopharmaceuticals for ₹231.87 crore. Following completion of the acquisition, Gennova will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. 

PDS Ltd 

PDS entered into a Sourcing as a Service (SaaS) agreement with the global sourcing division of a leading French-headquartered supermarket group. The contract covers textile sourcing operations across Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Turkey. 

Grasim Industries Ltd 

Grasim Industries announced that its subsidiary, Aditya Birla Renewables, approved the acquisition of 100% stake in Solenergi Power Private Limited from Shell Overseas Investment BV for ₹17,200 crore. The acquisition will strengthen the group's renewable energy portfolio through ownership of Sprng Energy and Sprng Solar Plus. 

Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd 

Nuvoco Vistas reported a solid quarterly performance, with net profit rising 20% year-on-year to ₹159.8 crore, while revenue increased 8.9% to ₹3,128.7 crore. 

TBO Tek Ltd 

Augusta TBO (Singapore) Pte reduced its holding in TBO Tek by selling a 2.04% stake through open market transactions, lowering its shareholding to 3.5%. 

Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances Ltd 

Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances secured a patent for its invention titled "Improvised Safety Knob for Gas Cooktops", which will remain valid for 20 years with effect from December 29, 2021. 

Conclusion
