Indian benchmark indices are expected to witness stock-specific action on 7 August as investors react to quarterly earnings, regulatory developments, fresh project wins and institutional transactions announced by several listed companies. 

Companies across pharmaceuticals, FMCG, infrastructure, insurance, shipping and renewable energy sectors are likely to remain in focus. Here are the key stocks investors should watch today. 

Alkem Laboratories Ltd 

Alkem Laboratories will remain under the spotlight after the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) issued a Form 483 with seven observations following an inspection of its Daman manufacturing facility. The regulator has classified the inspection status as Official Action Indicated (OAI), and investors will monitor the company's corrective measures. 

J Kumar Infraprojects Ltd 

J Kumar Infraprojects secured a Letter of Acceptance from the Karnataka Housing Board for the design, engineering, procurement and construction of an international cricket stadium and allied infrastructure works. The contract is valued at ₹990.16 crore, strengthening the company's order book. 

Dabur India Ltd 

Dabur India received a warning letter from the US FDA regarding its Silvassa manufacturing facility. The issue relates only to a small section of the plant that manufactures private-label export products. The company's domestic business and production continue to remain unaffected. 

Britannia Industries Ltd 

Britannia Industries reported a strong set of quarterly numbers. Consolidated net profit increased 13.6% year-on-year to ₹591.4 crore, while revenue rose 8.2% to ₹5,000 crore, supported by steady demand across its product portfolio. 

Siemens Energy India Ltd 

Siemens Energy India delivered robust quarterly earnings. Net profit surged 67.8% year-on-year to ₹440.9 crore, while revenue climbed 39.3% to ₹2,485.6 crore, reflecting strong execution across its energy business. 

Life Insurance Corporation of India 

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) posted healthy quarterly performance. Standalone profit increased 22.81% to ₹13,492 crore, while the Value of New Business (VNB) jumped 61.3% to ₹3,136 crore. The VNB margin also improved significantly to 22.9%. 

Shipping Corporation of India Ltd 

Shipping Corporation of India reported impressive first-quarter results. Consolidated profit rose 74.9% year-on-year to ₹619.3 crore, while revenue increased 40.3% to ₹1,846.6 crore, supported by improved operating performance. 

Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd 

Vijaya Diagnostic Centre recorded healthy quarterly growth. Consolidated net profit climbed 37.6% to ₹53.1 crore, while revenue rose 22.8% to ₹231 crore, reflecting continued demand for diagnostic services. 

Apollo Tyres Ltd 

Apollo Tyres posted a sharp improvement in earnings during the quarter. Consolidated net profit surged to ₹348.9 crore compared with ₹12.9 crore a year earlier, while revenue increased 12.8% to ₹7,397.8 crore. 

Premier Energies Ltd 

Premier Energies continued its strong growth momentum with quarterly profit rising 50.4% to ₹463.1 crore. Revenue increased 35.3% year-on-year to ₹2,462.6 crore, supported by healthy demand in the solar energy sector.

Aegis Logistics Ltd 

Aegis Logistics and its subsidiary, Aegis Vopak Terminals, entered into a framework agreement to develop an additional refrigerated propane storage tank with a capacity of 51,998 metric tonnes at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority terminal, expanding its storage infrastructure. 

Neuland Laboratories Ltd 

Neuland Laboratories will remain in focus after HDFC Mutual Fund acquired 64,547 equity shares, representing 0.5% of the company's equity, through a block deal worth ₹139.32 crore. 

Orient Electric Ltd 

Orient Electric attracted investor attention after Nippon India Mutual Fund purchased 25 lakh shares, equivalent to a 1.17% stake, in a transaction valued at ₹44.5 crore. 

Shadowfax Technologies Ltd 

Shadowfax Technologies witnessed significant block deal activity as Newquest Asia Fund IV sold a 2.13% stake, while Oxbow Master Fund acquired a 1.18% stake in the company. 

Other Stocks to Watch 

Clean Science and TechnologyKPIT TechnologiesApollo PipesCreditAccess GrameenAnand Rathi Wealth and Indegene are also expected to remain in focus following significant bulk and block deals, promoter stake transactions and institutional investments announced during the previous trading session.
