Indian benchmark indices are expected to witness stock-specific action today as investors evaluate quarterly business updates, strategic investments, acquisitions and regulatory developments announced by several listed companies. 

Market participants will also monitor banking sector performance, infrastructure expansion plans, corporate fundraising activities and large block deals, which could influence investor sentiment during today's trading session. 

Bajaj Finance Ltd 

Bajaj Finance reported a strong quarterly business update for the June 2026 quarter. The customer franchise increased to 12.44 crore from 10.65 crore a year ago, while new loans booked rose 20% year-on-year to 1.61 crore. Assets under management (AUM) climbed 24% to ₹5.46 lakh crore, with the deposits book reaching ₹68,500 crore. 

CSB Bank Ltd 

CSB Bank posted healthy operational growth during the first quarter. Total deposits increased 26% year-on-year to ₹45,415 crore, while gross advances rose 24% to ₹40,866 crore. CASA deposits also recorded a 4% increase to ₹8,815 crore. 

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Ltd 

Ujjivan Small Finance Bank delivered strong business growth with total deposits rising 25.1% to ₹48,307 crore. Gross loan book expanded 28.9% to ₹42,903 crore, while disbursements surged 41.5%. Gross NPA improved to 2.17% from 2.52% in the corresponding period last year. 

Marico Ltd 

Marico reported double-digit underlying volume growth in its India business during the first quarter. The company expects consolidated revenue to grow in the early twenties, supported by improved margins following a 45% correction in copra prices from peak levels. Its international business also recorded mid-teens constant currency growth. 

Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd 

Titagarh Rail Systems entered into a Strategic Collaboration Agreement with TuTr Hyperloop Private Limited to jointly develop Hyperloop technology-enabled freight transportation solutions in India. The partnership reflects the company's focus on next-generation transportation infrastructure.

PB Fintech Ltd 

Temasek Holdings subsidiary Macritchie Investments is reportedly planning to sell approximately 1.19 crore shares, representing a 2.6% stake in PB Fintech, through block deals valued at around ₹1,908 crore. Investors are likely to monitor the transaction closely for its potential impact on the stock. 

BLS E-Services Ltd 

BLS E-Services acquired a 100% stake in Atyati Technologies for ₹157 crore. The acquisition is expected to strengthen the company's AI-driven banking solutions and expand its technology offerings for financial institutions. 

Adani Enterprises Ltd 

Adani Enterprises and International Resources Holding (IRH), through 2PointZero, will establish a 50:50 joint venture to develop a $11.5 billion integrated greenfield aluminium project in Odisha. The project will include an alumina refinery, aluminium smelter and downstream manufacturing park, with planned investments of ₹66,000 crore and ₹44,000 crore across two phases. The company also launched its Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) issue with a floor price of ₹3,034.68 per share. 

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) 

BPCL's subsidiary, BPRL Ventures BV, acquired the remaining 39.14% stake in IBV Brasil Petroleo Limitada for ₹2,312 crore. The acquisition is expected to enhance BPCL's access to additional equity oil and gas assets, strengthening its energy portfolio. 

LG Electronics India Ltd 

LG Electronics India received favourable relief after the GST authority dropped a proposed tax demand of ₹116.72 crore related to alleged excess Input Tax Credit claimed during FY2021-22. The adjudication removes a significant regulatory overhang for the company. 

Sterlite Technologies Ltd 

Sterlite Technologies successfully raised ₹1,500 crore through a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP), attracting participation from several domestic and international institutional investors. 

Coal India Ltd 

Coal India supplied 51.44 million tonnes of coal to power plants during June FY27, registering 5.9% year-on-year growth as electricity demand remained strong during the peak summer season. 

Conclusion 

Quarterly business updates, strategic acquisitions, fundraising initiatives, block deals and large infrastructure investments are expected to keep several stocks in focus and drive company-specific movements in today's trading session.
