Nifty Trades Flat on Sep 29; IndusInd Bank, BEL, and Titan Among Top Gainers

Nifty 50 stayed flat on Sep 29, 2025, as IndusInd Bank, BEL, and Titan gained, while Maruti, Axis Bank, and Kotak Bank dragged the index.

On September 29, 2025, the Nifty 50 index hovered flat at 24,657.70, posting a negligible gain of 3 points or 0.01% by 12:17 IST. The index moved within a narrow band, touching a high of 24,791.30 and a low of 24,635.00. Market sentiment remained balanced as investors tracked mixed cues across sectors.

Stock Movers

IndusInd Bank rose 1.80% to ₹725.55, leading the pack of gainers. BEL added 1.72% to ₹402.70. Titan Company advanced 1.54% to ₹3,378.50, staging a rebound from recent declines. Gains were also seen in Eternal (up 1.48%) and Hindalco (up 1.36%).

On the losing side, Maruti Suzuki slipped 1.54% to ₹16,035.00. Axis Bank fell 2.07% to ₹1,130.10, while Kotak Bank lost 1.17% to ₹1,971.50. Tata Consumer Products dropped 1.28% to ₹1,104.70 and Hero MotoCorp declined nearly 1% to ₹5,277.50.

Sectoral Highlights

Among key sectoral indices, Nifty Oil & Gas gained 1.24%, Nifty PSU Bank rose 0.84% and Nifty Realty added 0.69%.
