GQG Partners has significantly reduced its holdings in Adani Group companies during the June 2026 quarter, divesting over more than $1 billion, or about ₹12,077 crore, as per The Moneycontrol news report. This move contrasts with other investors who have increased their stakes in the group.

GQG Partners' Major Divestment in Adani Enterprises

In the June 2026 quarter, GQG Partners Emerging Markets Equity Fund notably reduced its stake in Adani Enterprises. Previously holding 1.59% at the end of March 2026, the fund's stake is now unlisted, indicating a reduction below the 1% disclosure threshold.

This adjustment resulted in a net outflow of approximately ₹6,239 crore. Additionally, Goldman Sachs Trust GQG Partners International Opportunities Fund decreased its stake from 2.31% to 2.06%, equating to a ₹932 crore reduction.

Reallocation in Adani Green Energy and Ports

GQG Partners also restructured its holdings in Adani Green Energy and Adani Ports & SEZ

In Adani Green Energy, the Goldman Sachs GQG Partners stake decreased from 2.6% to 2.2%, while the Emerging Markets fund reduced its stake from 1.8% to 1.6%, leading to a combined outflow of ₹1,457 crore.

Adani Ports & SEZ saw a 0.3% reduction in Goldman Sachs GQG Partners' stake, resulting in a ₹1,379 crore outflow.
