Adani Group’s clean energy businesses reported higher operational activity during 2025 across solar manufacturing, wind equipment and green hydrogen projects, as per news reports.
The year coincided with continued growth in India’s renewable energy sector, where solar, wind and alternative fuels saw higher adoption amid rising electricity demand and capacity targets.
Adani Solar reported cumulative solar module shipments of more than 15,000 megawatts during the year, becoming the 1st Indian manufacturer to reach this level.
The increase followed higher domestic demand and additional manufacturing capacity. The company expanded its retail presence to over 550 districts, extending sales beyond utility-scale projects into wider regional markets.
During 2025, Adani Solar received certification from TUV Rheinland for long-term module reliability under IEC 63209-1:2021.
Its modules were listed in Wood Mackenzie’s Global Top 10 Photovoltaic Module Manufacturers 2025 and retained BloombergNEF’s Tier-1 classification in the third quarter. The company also received its 8th consecutive Kiwa PVEL Top Performer recognition.
Adani Wind crossed 1 gigawatt of installed capacity for its onshore wind turbines during the year. The business reported an external order book of 304 megawatts from independent power producers. It also outlined internal supply plans of 2.5 gigawatts to Adani Green Energy Limited in FY2026.
Manufacturing developments included the rollout of the 300th nacelle and the completion of the 500th blade. The company also localised production of India’s largest wind turbine main shaft in partnership with Larsen & Toubro.
During the year, Adani Wind completed its first export shipment of anti-icing blades to Europe and carried out 60-hertz design modifications for equipment intended for the United States market.
Adani New Industries Limited commissioned a 5 megawatt off-grid green hydrogen pilot plant in Kutch in 2025. The facility operates on solar power, supported by battery energy storage, and uses an automated electrolyser designed to function under variable renewable energy conditions.
