Amazon Business Reports 35% Sales Growth in India in 2025 as B2B Adoption Expands

Amazon India’s business-to-business (B2B) platform Amazon Business recorded 35% year-on-year growth in annual sales in 2025, reflecting increasing adoption among companies purchasing goods online.
Amazon Business currently offers more than 19 crore products from over 17 lakh sellers across the marketplace, providing businesses access to a wide range of supplies including industrial equipment, office essentials, and technology products.
Globally, Amazon Business has crossed US$35 billion in annualised sales, based on the latest publicly shared figures. The India business operates on the existing Amazon e-commerce infrastructure but offers a separate login and purchasing experience designed specifically for business customers.
Businesses Saved Over ₹2,000 Crore Through the Platform
According to the company, businesses in India realised over ₹2,000 crore in financial benefits and value in 2025 through the platform. These savings are estimated through discounted bulk pricing, cashback offers, and business-specific deals offered to enterprise buyers.
Pricing on the platform typically varies based on the volume of goods purchased, allowing businesses to reduce procurement costs when ordering in larger quantities.
The platform has increasingly become a procurement channel for companies looking to simplify purchasing, manage expenses and access a wider selection of vendors through a single marketplace.
Strong Adoption Beyond Metro Cities
Amazon Business has also seen strong growth outside major urban centres. The company said more than 70% of its customers now come from tier-2 and tier-3 cities, indicating rising digital adoption among businesses in smaller markets.
Two of the largest customer segments on the platform are services companies and manufacturing firms, each with different procurement needs.
Services companies commonly purchase IT equipment, office supplies, furniture, pantry appliances and housekeeping products, while manufacturing firms procure industrial tools, machinery components and safety equipment required for their operations.
Among product categories, PCs, IT equipment and office supplies continue to witness particularly strong demand from business buyers.
