The Rajasthan government has enhanced financial support available to exporters by increasing the maximum grant for technology upgradation under the Rajasthan Export Promotion Policy 2024.
The amendment, announced in line with Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma’s Budget 2026-27 commitments, is aimed at helping businesses modernise operations, improve product quality and strengthen their competitiveness in international markets.
Officials believe the revised incentive structure will encourage more enterprises to adopt advanced technologies and expand their export capabilities.
Nilabh Saxena, Commissioner of the Industries and Commerce Department, said the ceiling for financial assistance towards technological modernisation has been increased from ₹50 lakh to ₹1 crore.
According to Saxena, the enhanced support is expected to help industries invest in modern production systems and align their manufacturing capabilities with global standards.
The initiative is also intended to improve operational efficiency, expand production capacity, and strengthen the quality of goods targeted at overseas markets.
The amendment has been formally notified as part of revisions made to the Rajasthan Export Promotion Policy 2024.
The export promotion policy was unveiled by Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on December 4, 2024, and was subsequently notified by the department on December 8, 2024.
Designed to encourage entrepreneurs to enter international markets, the policy provides financial assistance across several areas of export development.
Businesses can receive support of up to ₹5 lakh for export-related documentation activities and up to ₹1 crore for technology upgrades.
In addition, exporters are eligible for grants of up to ₹3 lakh for participation in international trade events and exhibitions. The policy also offers reimbursement of up to ₹2 lakh for fees paid to e-commerce platforms, helping businesses strengthen their digital export presence.
The department has also uploaded all approval orders issued under these schemes to the online portal. The digital platform enables applicants to access services remotely while improving transparency and reducing processing delays.
Officials expect the online framework to make policy benefits more accessible to exporters and small businesses across the state.

The measures are expected to support exporters in improving competitiveness and expanding their presence in global markets.
