Target Date Fund

A target date fund is a type of mutual fund that adjusts its risk level based on the investor's target date, usually their estimated retirement date. This is achieved by gradually selling stocks and increasing investments in fixed income assets as the target date approaches. Target date funds are often compared to life cycle funds due to their similar risk-reducing approach.
