Wishlink, a creator-led commerce platform, has reportedly raised $17.5 million in a Series B funding round led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India. News reports suggest that existing backers Fundamentum and Elevation Capital also participated.

The company did not disclose the valuation or other financial terms of the transaction.

Platform Model and Revenue Tracking

Wishlink operates in the creator commerce segment, connecting social media content with online retail. Creators on the platform attach product links to their posts, allowing purchases to be tracked back to individual content pieces. Brands and marketplaces use the system to monitor sales and commissions.

Transaction Volumes and Creator Base

The company said it currently works with over 40,000 monthly active creators. These users collectively publish more than 300,000 pieces of content each month that include product recommendations.

According to figures shared by the company, Wishlink facilitates over 6 million orders per month. It also reports driving more than Rs 350 crore in monthly sales for partner brands and e-commerce platforms. The numbers show gross merchandise value routed through its network.

Deployment of Capital

Wishlink said the fresh capital will be used to widen its network of creators and partner brands. A portion of the funds will also be allocated to technology development, including tools for improving tracking and integration between content and commerce systems.

The company indicated that it plans to work on its infrastructure to support income generation for creators and to provide brands with attribution of sales linked to digital content.

Company and Investor Comments

Shaurya Gupta, Co-Founder of Wishlink, said that creator-led product discovery has grown over the past 4 years and requires continued investment in backend systems.

Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India said shifts in consumer behaviour towards influencer-driven purchases are contributing to growth in the segment.
