Regional airline Fly91 is scaling up its operations with the addition of new destinations and routes, aiming to strengthen connectivity across emerging markets. The expansion reflects growing demand for regional air travel in India.

New Routes and Flight Operations

As per PTI report, the airline has announced the introduction of services to Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Hubballi as part of its network expansion.

These services will be rolled out in phases between April 10 and April 17. Alongside these additions, the carrier is also launching five new sectors to enhance connectivity.

Under the revised schedule, Fly91 will operate double daily flights on the Hyderabad to Rajahmundry and Hyderabad to Vijayawada routes. Daily services will be available on Hyderabad to Hubballi and Hubballi to Bengaluru routes.

Additionally, the airline will run five weekly flights between Hyderabad and Solapur, while frequency on the Goa to Solapur sector will increase to 6 flights per week.

Network Growth and Capacity Addition

With the inclusion of these new destinations, Fly91 will expand its network from nine cities to 12 cities.

The updated network will include Goa (Manohar International Airport, Mopa), Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Solapur, Jalgaon, Sindhudurg, Kochi, Agatti, along with the newly added Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, and Hubballi.

This expansion is expected to add nearly 30,000 seats per month to the airline’s regional operations. The company is also planning to further grow its network by adding Indore, Nanded, and Mangalore in the coming weeks.

Strategic Focus and Industry Impact

Fly91’s expansion strategy is centred on Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, which are increasingly driving economic activity and domestic travel demand.

The airline’s management highlighted that these regions are becoming key contributors to growth and entrepreneurship.

The addition of new destinations is expected to improve access to important commercial, industrial, and educational centres, thereby supporting regional development.

Earlier this year, the airline had also launched daily services on the Kochi to Agatti route, improving connectivity to Lakshadweep.
