MeltPlan, a preconstruction AI platform founded in 2025, announced a $10 million seed round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, bringing total capital raised to $14 million.
The seed round was headed by Bessemer Venture Partners with additional participation from Noa. The $10 million will be allocated to further develop MeltPlan’s AI planning engine, a system intended to optimise code, cost, schedule and value decisions before construction begins.
MeltPlan’s platform integrates four decision systems into a single workflow. The code system guides regulatory compliance, the cost system supports risk‑based take‑offs, the schedule system enables scenario planning and the value system evaluates impact for owners and developers.

Co‑founder and CEO Kanav Hasija previously co‑founded Innovaccer, a health‑tech company valued at $3 billion. COO Tanmaya Kala, a Stanford‑trained civil engineer, previously led large projects at DPR Construction. Their combined experience informs the platform’s focus on early‑stage decision optimisation.
The AI engine has achieved scores of 95% or higher on building inspector examinations. MeltPlan is currently piloting the system with contractors such as DPR Construction in California and Innovo Group in the UAE, aiming to reduce planning errors and accelerate preconstruction workflows.
The $10 million seed investment provides MeltPlan with resources to enhance its AI planning engine across code, cost, schedule and value dimensions, targeting the $14 trillion construction market.
