
Bengaluru-based aerospace manufacturer Hical Technologies has secured a long-term agreement with French aircraft maker Dassault Aviation to produce key components used in the control systems of Rafale fighter jets, as per PTI reports.
Under the agreement, Hical Technologies will manufacture mission-critical products designed for control system applications in the Rafale fighter aircraft.
These components will be developed to meet Dassault Aviation’s stringent engineering, qualification and reliability requirements.
The collaboration marks a significant step for the Indian aerospace manufacturer as it becomes part of the supply chain supporting one of the world’s most advanced fighter aircraft platforms.
Bruno Coiffier, Senior Executive Vice President – Procurement and Purchasing at Dassault Aviation, said, “Hical Technologies has demonstrated a strong commitment to quality and reliability - values that strongly align with Dassault Aviation's heritage of excellence.”
Yashas Jaiveer, Managing Director of Hical Technologies, said the contract reflects the company’s long-standing focus on engineering capability and manufacturing precision.
He added, “Being entrusted with critical products for the Rafale, one of the most sophisticated fighter aircraft in the world is a recognition that Indian aerospace manufacturing has arrived on the global stage.”
Hical Technologies stated that its participation in the Rafale programme strengthens India’s position as a strategic contributor to the global aerospace and defence ecosystem.
