
Bengaluru-based Gnani.ai has secured fresh funding as it looks to strengthen its position in the enterprise AI space.
The company is focusing on expanding its global footprint while advancing its technology capabilities in voice-driven automation.
The startup has raised $10 million in a funding round led by Aavishkaar Capital. The capital will be deployed towards entering new international markets and enhancing its research and development efforts.
Founded by Ganesh Gopalan and Ananth Nagaraj, Gnani.ai has been building solutions aimed at enabling enterprises to automate customer interactions using voice-first artificial intelligence. The company has been witnessing growing demand as organisations increasingly adopt AI-driven tools to improve efficiency and service delivery.
As per news reports, Commenting on the business traction, cofounder Ganesh Gopalan said customers are seeing “tangible improvements in efficiency and performance”, while also highlighting that the company added over 100 new enterprise clients in the last financial year.
Gnani.ai develops its entire technology stack internally, including speech-to-text, text-to-speech and speech-to-speech capabilities, along with its agentic AI platform. These solutions allow businesses to handle large volumes of voice interactions efficiently across multiple languages.
The platform currently processes more than 30 million voice interactions each day in over 12 languages and serves more than 200 enterprise clients, including Fortune 500 companies. Its applications extend across sectors such as BFSI, telecom, insurance, automotive and government, covering use cases like workforce automation, live agent assistance, voice biometrics and call intelligence.
Beyond customer support, the company’s solutions are being integrated into broader business processes. For instance, in lending, its technology supports activities ranging from customer acquisition and onboarding to collections and cross-selling, demonstrating how voice AI is becoming embedded across operational workflows.
Gnani.ai already operates across multiple international markets, including the U.S., Japan, the Middle East and parts of East Asia. The company is also working on new product innovations such as avatar-based interfaces and voice cloning to expand its offerings further.
Backed by investors like Samsung Ventures and Info Edge Ventures, the startup has also been selected under the India AI Mission to contribute to the development of sovereign AI models.
From an investor perspective, Aavishkaar Capital highlighted that deep technology, particularly AI, is becoming central to economic growth. Its leadership emphasised the importance of identifying companies with genuine technological depth in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.
