Digital Striker, an optical fiber tools and equipment startup, has secured $1 million (approximately ₹8.5 crore) in funding from Foxhog Ventures to establish local manufacturing operations in India.

Funding to Power Local Manufacturing Plans

Digital Striker will use a significant portion of the newly raised capital to establish a manufacturing facility in India.

The company plans to invest ₹5–6 crore in building manufacturing infrastructure, onboarding skilled manpower, and setting up offices in key Indian cities. The remaining funds will support ongoing import-based operations to meet customer demand during the transition phase.

Addressing a Critical Gap in Telecom Infrastructure

India's telecom sector is expanding rapidly with increasing broadband penetration and data consumption. Optical fiber tools have traditionally been imported, creating a gap in domestic supply chains.

Digital Striker aims to bridge this gap by offering locally manufactured alternatives that reduce procurement delays, lower costs, and provide quicker after-sales support to telecom operators and contractors.

Strong Early Traction and Market Presence

Founded in 2021, Digital Striker has built a nationwide distribution network of more than 450 resellers and channel partners.

The company has reported a cumulative turnover of ₹8.85 crore over 40 months. In the first phase of manufacturing, it plans to locally produce 5–7 core tools, with additional products to be added based on market demand.

Investor Confidence and Road Ahead

Foxhog Ventures' investment reflects growing confidence in hardware-focused startups catering to India's infrastructure needs.

With this funding, Digital Striker aims to expand its product range, strengthen manufacturing capabilities, and increase its presence across telecom and broadband projects nationwide.

Conclusion

Digital Striker has raised $1 million from Foxhog Ventures to establish local optical fiber tools manufacturing in India. The company will use the funds to build manufacturing infrastructure and reduce dependency on imports. With a network of 450+ partners and ₹8.85 crore in cumulative turnover, Digital Striker is positioned to address the growing demand for locally produced telecom equipment.
