Several large-cap companies have announced dividend payouts, with their ex-dividend and record dates falling between August 7 and August 14, 2026. Investors planning to receive these dividends must purchase the shares before the respective ex-dividend dates, as only eligible shareholders on the record date will receive the payout.

Here are 5 major companies with upcoming dividend dates.

Jio Financial Services Dividend

Jio Financial Services has fixed August 10, 2026, as the record date for its final dividend of ₹0.60 per equity share for FY26.

The company's third Annual General Meeting (AGM) is scheduled for August 26, 2026, through video conferencing. If shareholders approve the dividend, it is expected to be paid within 7 days of the AGM.

The company has also fixed August 19, 2026, as the cut-off date for shareholders eligible to vote at the AGM.

Lodha Developers Dividend

Lodha Developers has announced a final dividend of ₹4.25 per equity share for FY26.

The company's shares will trade ex-dividend on August 7, 2026, which is also the record date for determining eligible shareholders. The dividend remains subject to shareholder approval at the AGM scheduled for August 14, 2026. If approved, the payment is expected within 30 days after the AGM.

Indus Towers Dividend

Indus Towers has declared a final dividend of ₹14 per equity share for FY26.

The stock is scheduled to trade ex-dividend on August 10, 2026. Investors who purchase the shares before the ex-dividend date and are eligible on the record date will receive the announced dividend.

Godfrey Phillips India Dividend

Godfrey Phillips India will trade ex-dividend on August 11, 2026, for its final dividend of ₹33 per equity share.

Earlier in FY26, the company had also paid an interim dividend of ₹17 per share, which went ex-dividend in November 2025.

HAL Dividend

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has recommended a final dividend of ₹15 per equity share for FY26, subject to shareholder approval.

The company has fixed August 14, 2026, as the record date to determine eligible shareholders. If approved at the AGM, the dividend is expected to be paid within 30 days.

What Are the Ex-Dividend Date and Record Date?

The ex-dividend date is the first day a stock trades without the right to receive the declared dividend. Investors must purchase the shares before this date to qualify.

The record date is the date on which the company checks its shareholder records to determine who is eligible for the dividend. Due to India's T+1 settlement cycle, investors generally need to buy the shares at least one trading day before the ex-dividend date.

Conclusion

Several well-known companies, including Jio Financial Services, Lodha Developers, Indus Towers, Godfrey Phillips India and HAL, have upcoming dividend dates. Investors looking to receive these payouts should carefully track the ex-dividend and record dates and ensure they buy the shares before the eligibility cut-off.
